GusherLabs Engages with Farmers through Mnzeru Project

GusherLabs, as part of the Mnzeru Project(Farmers Community Hub), had the pleasure of meeting farmers in Mpemba, Blantyre, reflecting on the challenges and opportunities in their daily lives.

Spending time with the farmers allowed us to understand their perspectives and identify solutions tailored to their needs. What they think and experience points directly to where and how we can improve our technologies to make a meaningful impact.

According to the World Bank, only 7% of the Malawian population are commercial farmers, yet 24% of them still live below the poverty line. Through gatherings like this, we gained insights into the reasons behind this and how technology can help address these pressing issues.

As engineers and innovators, we must position ourselves to create solutions that genuinely improve the lives of farming communities, bridging gaps and driving sustainable change.
